A-SIM is a serial-interface peripheral which emulates the airflow the pilot would feel while flying or driving.

A-SIM reads airspeed and sideslip values from a simulation game through X-SIM and emulates what the air would feel like in an open cockpit of that conditions using computer fans.

  • Emulates airspeed and sideslip
  • Serial or USB-to-Serial connection to PC
  • PIC16F887 microcontroller
  • PWM speed control of 12V DC fans
  • Max 0.8A of output current
  • ~15 m3/h of airflow from 4 PC fans
  • Can be used with racing and flying simulators
